If you offer grooming-based services, we have several features that you can utilize to make scheduling and booking easier for admins and clients.

Custom Client and Pet Fields
Client and Pet Fields in Facility are completely customizable. You can show them to clients or hide them for internal notes on previous grooms or behavior. It's also possible to set them as required, so a client will need to fill them out before scheduling services.
Admins can set fields as required on their dashboard:
Marking fields as required will make it necessary to complete them before the client is able to schedule services:
Admins can also create notes that are not viewable by clients by unchecking the "Client Editable", "Client Visible", and "Required" Field Properties:
Custom New Client Intake Form
The Allow Clients To Create New Accounts feature can save precious time. You can create a direct link to allow clients to sign up for an account with your company and fill out a custom new client intake form. From there, accounts can be auto-approved or manually approved. This cuts down on emailing back and forth by capturing the information you need right away to move forward with scheduling.
Setting Up Services
Time To Pet allows you to create unlimited types of Main and Add-On Services. If your company offers various grooming services, such as Full Grooming, Mini Grooming, sani-trim, and so forth, you can create a service for each!
For your primary grooming services, such as the groom itself, you can create them as a Main Service with the "Daycare" Service Type. When clients go to request this service, they will see it in the "Same Day" services options.
Tip: Add a description to each service to share important details with pet parents, like "Pickup time may change at Drop-Off." Service descriptions are displayed as soon as the service is selected, making them a great way to communicate the process, expectations, or any potential changes!
You can create Drop-Off and Pickup windows that clients can select when requesting services.
In the portal, when clients select the grooming service, they’ll be prompted to choose the Drop-Off and Pickup times from the options you've configured.
They can also add any Add-On Services from the "Select an Add-On" drop-down options:
Scheduling Repeat Services
When scheduling services for a client, you can use the Duplicates tool to duplicate the same services for a future date.
After scheduling services, stay in the pop-up, click the "Tools" tab, and click Duplicate:
From here, you can select the additional dates by clicking on them and using the arrows to move to additional months; the selected dates will be circled on the calendar and listed below the calendar. This is great for clients who want to book another groom 4 or 6 weeks out.
Spaces
You can assign staff and pets to Spaces. Each groomer can have their own Space that pets can be assigned to for grooming services:
When approving or scheduling services for grooming, pets assigned to these Spaces can be viewed by the groomer in Front Desk Mode:
Flags
The Flags feature in Facility is limitless. Flags are never seen by clients, only by Admins, Schedulers, or Staff. They can be easily set on a client's profile and are completely customizable. Some companies will add a Flag for clients who pay by cash, behavior warnings, preferred groomers, and much more.
Global Documents And Client Documents
The Facility provides two types of Document features:
Global Documents – These are visible to all clients and can be used to share general information.
Client Documents – These are added to a specific client's profile and are only visible to that client.
Documents are a great way to share additional information, guides, or resources for clients to view and download.
Example: A Global Document could include a welcome guide or service policies accessible to all clients.

Note: Clients can also view documents in their Time To Pet App for easy viewing on the go.
Tasks
Tasks in Facility are a versatile way to create assignable reminders directly in your Dashboard. A task has a description, an optional due date, an optional assignee, and an optional client or staff member linked. Tasks help with organization and can be useful if a client is missing information, needs a follow-up to schedule another groom, or needs a general reminder.
Tasks will show in your dashboard notifications as well as on a client's profile:

Portal Notification
The Portal Notification feature is for general announcements. When activated, you can add a custom message that will show at the top of every page in their client portal. You can change those settings here: Client Settings > Portal Settings.
Portal - Service Request Form Message
The "Portal - Service Request Form" in Company Settings > Messaging. This message will only show when the client is requesting services. For example, "If you would like any additional Grooming Services, don't forget to select an Add-On Service!". Or "Grooming is booked for October 12th-22nd".
Messaging in Time To Pet
Messaging in Facility allows for quick and responsive communication with clients and is a keystone of every successful pet service business. Communication is a fully integrated piece of Facility, which you will likely use frequently. This article is an overview of the different methods of communication possible with Facility. Follow the links in each section for more in-depth instructions on a particular method.
Pet Vaccination Tool
For many groomers, it is required that their clients keep their pets up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. Facility can help you track vaccinations and their due dates and run vaccination reports to see what pets are missing vaccinations, are past due, or have upcoming due dates using the Pet Vaccinations tool. You can also allow pet parent clients to manage their own vaccinations using this tool.
