Facility: Grouping Services

Organize your Main and Add-On Services into groups so clients can browse and request them more easily.

Many facilities offer an array of Main and Add-On Services that can include daycare, boarding, grooming, and more. When you have a long list of services, it can be difficult for both you and your clients to find the right one. The Grouping Services feature in Facility lets you organize your services into named categories, making them easier to manage and easier for clients to browse when requesting services.

Grouping Services

You can group services directly in your Main Services and Add-On Services lists. To create your first group, click the "Add Group" button at the top of either the Main Services or Add-On Services tab.

When you create a new group, you will be prompted to enter a group name (such as "Daycare" or "Boarding") and select at least one service to include in that group.

Once your groups are set up, you can move services between them. Click and hold the four-arrow crosshair icon to the left of any service, then drag it into a different group.

When clients request services through the Client Portal, they will see your services organized under these groups. The groups appear within the Service Type (Same Day or Overnight) that you have assigned to each client's profile. You can also rename or edit a group at any time by clicking the pencil icon next to the group name.

Reordering Groups

To change the order in which your groups appear, click the dropdown arrow next to the "Add Group" button on either the Main Services or Add-On Services tab, then select "Re-Order Groups."

In the Re-Order dialog, use the crosshair icons to drag and drop your groups into the order you prefer, then click "Done."

Grouping is purely organizational and does not affect pricing, scheduling, or reporting. Any services that are not placed in a group will still appear in your services list and remain available for clients to request.
