Understanding Forecasting In Shifts

Learn how to forecast shifts in Time To Pet Facility.

In Shifts, the Forecasting tab can help project staff occupancy needed for scheduling and the present or future occupancy of Spaces. In Forecasting, several icons will appear as indicators on a date and time to help schedule Shifts and determine staff needed.

Forecasting In Shifts

In Shifts, the Forecasting tab can help project staff occupancy needed for scheduling and the present or future occupancy of Spaces. In Forecasting, several icons will appear as indicators on a date and time to help schedule Shifts. By clicking on any of the shown colored icons, you can review current scheduling details for the space.

Red - Over Dogs/User Limit and Staffing icons: These icons can indicate there is an over Dogs/User Limit on a Space's date and time. By clicking on this icon, you can view pets assigned to this Space, the Space's capacity, and any staff scheduled for the Space. Clicking this icon will help determine if Staff/Users may need to be scheduled for the Space; this is determined by the Space's capacity set and the pets assigned to a Space.

Yellow - Capacity Limit: This icon indicates the selected date or time for this Space has reached capacity. This is determined by the pets assigned to this Space, assigned pets are shown to the right of the "heart" icon.

Purple - "Persons" icon with numbers: This icon indicates no issues detected by presently scheduled staff. The numbers on the icon show the number of staff currently assigned to a Space. By clicking on this icon, you can view the staff assigned to this Space, the Space's current capacity, and any pets assigned to the Space.

Green - "heart" icon: This icon indicates no issues are detected for this date and time for a Space. This icon appears when staff are assigned to a Space and any pets assigned to this Space are not reaching the Space's capacity limit.
